As the article points out, at the time of the murders PCSO consisted of Sheriff Thomas and 33 sworn officers responsible for the county's 2,566 square miles. He is quoted as saying he had everyone working, days off were cancelled, people were called in from vacation, he "tapped the resources of the state Department of Justice in Sacramento" which sent two investigators, two photographers, a criminalist and a fingerprint expert.
So how can people today say he didn't investigate this case thoroughly or he screwed up the case?
