I posted on Zodiackillerhoax1986 forum that Dana could’ve suffered a seizure I said due to a blow to the head
however two things could be the cause of him suffering from a seizure
the first is a blow to the head which the other blows may have come from panicking and attempting to stop it (I don’t know if everyone has seen The Texas Chainsaw Massacre but one of the male characters suffers a seizure after a blow to the head with a sledge hammer) this however doesn’t account for the broken tape unless it broke during the seizure (something I’ll touch on soon) or the tried to tape his but failed and doesn’t account for the choking/strangulation
the second is Insulin Shock (Admin Horan of Zodiackillerhoax1986 brought this up)
Insulin shock” is a common term for low blood sugar, or hypoglycemia. It may also be called an insulin reaction. The exact blood sugar level that leads to symptoms varies, but is generally less than 70 mg/dL.3
we know it was reported Dana injected himself earlier in the evening and we know the kit was either not at the scene when police arrived or is another piece of mishandled evidence if it was left behind at Kathy Beckley’s house Dana wouldn’t have has a shot for hours it was reportedly 10pm when a Johnny and Dana returned to Cabin 28
some information before I continue
People diagnose with TYPE 1 diabetes usually start with two injections of insulin per day of two different types of insulin and generally progress to three or four injections per day of insulin of different types. The types of insulin used depend on their blood sugar levels . Usually two hours apart.
symptoms of insulin shock are:
Dizziness and clumsy movements.
Sweating and palor.
Personality changes, like becoming irritable.
Confusion.
Extreme hunger. When blood sugar drops, the body understands that it needs food.
Tingling hands.
Trembling.
Seizures.
Excess urination.
this would account for the conflicting reports Dana appeared drunk and violent
Also has it actually been recorded if anyone else saw Dana have an inject earlier in the day I haven’t seen anything other than Kathy Beckley and is she reliable
There would’ve been quite along period as to when Dana had his last injection it is possible he had a seizure where a the same goes they hit him over the head to make him stop
now getting back the the tape which I said I’ll touch on soon they could’ve (and this is pretty much a long shot but I’ll put it out there as it was the 80’s and seizures were probably a lot more confronting back then) taped his wrist during the convulsions but the convulsions themselves cause the tape to tear (like I said long shot) this however does still not account for the choking/strangulation (something else I’ve decided to touch on)
CHOKE HOLD
When the choke hold actually comes on in full application, 4-7 seconds. It can take 10-20 seconds with a person fighting it to get it cinched in tightly. If pressure is applied to the Carotid Arteries, it takes several seconds. If you simply crush the trachea, it takes a split second.
STRANGULATION
In a fight if one were to hold you down and begin choking you it would take about a full minute for you to lose consciousness assuming your heart is pounding and breathing rapidly.
To kill the person you would have to continue to apply pressure sufficient to strangulate for about 4–5 min in order to ensure death…probably longer in some cases.
That is why it is one of the more horrible and harshly punished murders. It takes a long time to do. You have a minimum of 4–6 min to sit there quietly with the person unconscious squeezing with time to stop and reconsider. It’s not a trigger pull instant decision. It’s a process. You can’t argue self defense or heat of the moment with strangulation. You had a long time with the person utterly defenseless to stop and come to your senses as it were.
if Dana died via strangulation rather than a choke hold (a choke hold is the popular and probably most likely theory) that would have to mean he died on his back or sitting which raises the theory again and the seated position which later brought up as possibly (and likely) from being at the morgue (in saying that it the same thing wasn’t recorded about Johnny who was left on his back although he did have a pillow underneath him)
my intent here was to talk about Insulin Shock seizures instead I’ve gone into something much longer I apologize for that
