Does anyone know what kind of button his pants had? Was it the type typically used for denim jeans? Or was it one of those metal snap buttons? I remember having some pants with those snap buttons. The button would pop undone occasionally and if left undone the zipper would start to come undone as well. TMI, I know! If it was a snap button, perhaps it being undone wasn't an intentional act, just something that happened. A typical button on the other hand would either have been unbuttoned by Dana (to use the bathroom, relax, etc) or by the killers for some reason. <button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button><button disabled="" class="c-attachment-insert--linked o-btn--sm">Attachment Deleted</button> These are the style of jeans Dana was wearing that night I tried to find ones with a snap lock button but couldn’t that’s not to say there isn’t any And, men's Levi's corduroy jeans were sold in Quincy. I wouldn't be surprised if Dana's were the bell (flared) legged jeans in the 1979 ad, by the looks of all the material underneath the ankle ligatures. They came in a variety of colors, including light blue and tan. Dana's jeans appear to be light-colored in the B&W pics.

This what I mean about Justin helping Sue and not getting blood on him the blanket is also particularly on Dana and the amount of blood next to Sue would make it virtually impossible to not get blood on his feet or what he was wearing then later his sheets

Yes, I see exactly what you now! Thank you. Who covered Sue? She was completely covered with the blanket and I cannot see Justin being able to do that without maneuvering all around her. Which, yep doesn't seem possible without blood on himself. The piece of tape with his DNA was said to have been on the floor near Sue's head. Can anyone see this piece of tape in any of the pictures? His DNA on the tape has turned into a lot of unfair allegations. It was found on the floor & it's possible it was already on the floor when Justin touched it. Do you have any thoughts on who covered Sue? Zonita said Sheila came back saying "there are three bodies and their hands are all tied". But if Sue was covered Johnny would have been the only one visible with their hands tied. But, Sheila always said Johnny was who she saw first/what stands out in her memory. So it's possible she said "their hands" because she noticed Johnny's were. Also, I just remembered this in the interview she did with Norene from Paranormal Zone, Sheila said she only recently learned her mom was "hogtied". I believe she was being truthful when she said that, her tone, her description of learning that information, she sounded angry & upset. Anyway, was Sue covered before the killers left the cabin? Or before police arrived? Jamie, Uncle, and Les each were said to have gone inside the cabin but denied it to LE. Edit to add: Here is the link for the Paranormal Zone YouTube video and interview with Sheila.

Good ideas on the covering of Sue. There are so many possibilities to consider. Profilers say that if a body is covered it is indicative of a personal relationship. What if the person who covered Sue did that knowing Sheila would be the person who found the bodies and wanted to save her from seeing her battered mother? I'm not saying Sheila was involved in the crime, just that the person or persons who committed this atrocity thought about who would find the bodies. Or maybe they thought about the other two Sharp children and were saving them from seeing their battered mother?

Well like I said in a previous comment how did Shiela know there were three bodies (now before I go any further I’m not saying Shiela had anything to do with the murders because I don’t believe she did) as Sue was covered also Dana’s hands weren’t tied but so the only the only one she could’ve seen that was tied was Johnny that’s unless Sue wasn’t covered until later by Shiela, the Seabolts or Don Davis (I’ve seen conflicting reports saying he arrived before police some say he arrived after) or possibly even a join decision by all three given she was naked from the waist down was the question ever asked by the police or did they just assume the killers placed it over her
