I was intrigued by him bringing up John's wallet. Right or wrong, at least he's discussing the case

He'll definitely be doing a lot more with the case : ) I'd love for him to make another video too. There were some details he wasn't aware of when he made his assessment & I wonder if/how that would change his opinion. The wallet like snoho mentioned, the pellet gun, Kathy & Cruzita, withholding the ride info all those years + their lifestyles & associates/statements by those associates. And I believe a lot of statements surrounding j&d are not taken into consideration or maybe deemed unreliable because it's always said there were no drugs or alcohol found during autopsy. However, the actual toxicology reports have never been released. I don't believe we can say for sure one way or another without seeing those results.
Doug Thomas made the above statement early on and that is all the no drugs & alcohol is based on. DT later added they had since found a connection with one of the victims. I am in no way disparaging Johnny or Dana. They were normal teenagers and every teenager I've ever known, including myself, at least smoked weed at that age. But the issue is that statement has been relied upon so heavily and any time the 'drug related' motive comes up it's immediately shot down. An entire possible avenue of investigation dismissed + allowed the prevailing theory to take over. Despite the toxicology reports having never been released to verify the claim.
It's also frequently said "j&d were not heavy into drugs". I've never seen anyone say or suggest they were. Again, just normal kids. I assume that's related to the LSD claims. Teenagers are bored & experiment. I guess what I'm trying to say is, and I'll just use the LSD theft rumors that came up from several other people. They didn't have to be "heavy drug users". They could have never touched LSD before but a spur of the moment opportunity lead to a bad decision. An opportunity to have fun with friends vs feed a fix or make money. It actually reminds me of something my friends did back in the day. When you're young you feel invincible, don't think about consequences and nobody would ever expect something like what happened inside that cabin to ever happen. I'm not saying that was the reason, just that I don't believe the possibility should be dismissed. And with the way information is selectively released, there's a lot of statements & LE files being withheld because they don't fit the prevailing theory.
