Ok, I'm watching Ken's new video with him and Bill. I'm only 15 minutes in, but decided to pause and publicly post some thoughts before continuing. Ken mentioned how when people become too invested in a case they tend to start focusing on minor details and making too much out of little things that aren't important. Of course he's right. He also mentioned how sometimes a person with an untainted view, someone who isn't aware of all the rabbit holes & therefore that doesn't distract. A broader view can be more beneficial. So, I'm pausing the video and that's what I'm going to try and do here. For myself if nothing else. It's something Ive wanted to do for some time, I don't give AF who disagrees or who insults my opinion, these are my opinions only .
Ive said before how there's very few definites for me in this case. Things that need to be accounted for when going through different possibilities. I'm going to try lay things out here, in no particular order.
- Unplanned homicide
- The homicides occurred very shortly, if not immediately when Johnny & Dana arrived home. This is a sure thing imo, based one the way the boys were dressed. There was no hanging in the basement. They didn't have time to take their outerwear or shoes off. They either walked in on something already in motion or trouble followed right behind them.
- Sue was either already in the living room or it began while she was in the bedroom and something brought her out. I know this is a wide range of possibilities here, but either are possible imo . I lean towards she was already in the living room when j&d arrived home.
- everything escalated when Johnny & Dana arrived hime
- j&d allowed themselves to be bound. This is not in Johnny's personality at all. The most likely explanation imo, is that he was attempting to protect his mom or Tina. He believed complying would get them all out of there safely. An alternative possibility is he knew this person wasn't playing around but still believed they could comply and deescalate the situation.
- I do believe Dana broke his bindings and tried to make a break for it. Johnny may have been attacked first, in the upper right-hand corner of the living room and this is what caused Dana to break free. Or Dana made a break for it and Johnny was attacked. The attack on the boys occured simultaneously imo. It was chaos after this and Dana breaking free may have been what brought Sue out of the bedroom, if she wasn't already on the living.
- Sue ran to Johnny. Her ankles at lead were not bound at this point.
- the medical tape > electric cords and Sue's gag show escalation and a frenzy, improvising in the moment by the perpetrators
- the cord connecting the boys together was an demobilization technique. I believe because Dana broke free once and they weret going to risk it again. He broke his bindings and was able to stand up before being attacked again and then strangled.
- Johnny was rolled closer towards Dana. Dana likely rolled as well, bringing them closer together and applying the extension cord to each of their ankles.
- Sue's bindings - I believe she was sitting on the couch when they were applied. The way she was bound is very similar to the way prisoners are bound during transport, in a way so the person can sit comfortably but cannot move, get up walk.
- I believe the gag was applied because she possibly bit the perpetrator and enraged them. The gag also shows escalation and new pieces being introduced once what was previously applied failed.
Continuing..,...
- I believe the cushion was on the floor simply because it came off at some point during the struggle. Perhaps while Sue was being forced off the couch. Dana's blood was underneath sue, so he was already injured.
- the TV was purposely moved to that position because the perpetrators intended to wrap extension cord connecting the boys around the TV stand as a further demobilization attempt.
- where did the extension cords come from? I only know for certain the lamp from the girls bedroom was used. But where did they collect the extension cords? The unused cord underneath Dana, I believe was because they intended to apply more but found it wasn't necessary. This may also be why the TV was moved. I the TV was purposely moved by the perps for some reason.
- the knife marks on the wall - someone was standing against that wall and being threatened. I believe Dana while Johnny was being threatened in the front right corner of the living room
- as we've discussed, it does look like a gym or duffle bag was dumped out. With baseball equipment. Dana has a wound that looks like it could have been caused by a baseball bat, or the pellet gun
- the tape. I don't believe it was medical tape. The original investigation never described it as such. They were attempting & unable to find out the exact type/use of the tape. We talked about this before and recently on the FB page, I believe that was used as grip tape for the baseball bats. Baseball tryouts that morning. I believe it was already in the cabin, in the living room, the perpetrators saw it and utilized it.
Continued again.....
- the pellet gun, it's significant but I can't get further than that. Was it in the cabin already? Most things make it appear no, but then theres Aunt Jackie's statement of Sue telling her she bought Johnny one or put it on layaway. I lean towards it was brought by the perpetrators. If we could 1000% it was brought by the perps, then it's a very significant, a very interesting choice of weapons. And to me points towards a younger offender being involved.
- Phillips statement of people looking & waiting for Johnny, believing they could get what they wanted with threats from the pellet gun - a scenario like that is the closest to reality imo.
- Johnny's wallet being tossed behind the couch, leads me to believe it has something to do with j&d and someone was looking for/wanted something
- Dana's insulin kit - same as above + perps were likely IV drug users
- so many people surrounding j&d and drug/party scene acted strangely. I believe multiple had information they were withholding and imo this points to a motive surrounding J&d
- the three little boys did not see the perpetrators or witness the homicides. They were spared because the perps believe they were sleeping and knew they were not a threat
- Tina walked out or was seen by the perps. She may have been kept on the bedroom before being removed from the cabin
- the pink cloth bound her wrist. I believe the missing red bandana was used on Tina.
- but she was allowed to get dressed before being removed. Was there a familiarity there?
- camp eighteen is the most crucial lead
Continuing?? (I'm sure there's more Id like to add)...
