Porch light or Yardarm, which light bulb was unscrewed? What we know:

Not one report has been produced which verifies the porch light bulb was found unscrewed

There IS a report stating the yardarm light bulb had been unscrewed.

There are no report stating the porch light bulb was screwed back in by PCSO on the morning of 4/12/81.

Two prints were ID'd on the porch light bulb. One was identified as Sheila's. The other was too smeared for comparison.

It was this smeared print that k28 now claims was Wright's print

Yet, no report has been published to prove his claim that Wright's prints were ID'd on the bulb.

The initial report ID'd Sheila's print & stated the other print was too smeared for comparison purposes

He then claimed to find a later report which ID'd the smeared print as Wrights

He has since been unable to find this later report again, but "knows he saw it".

? Is he confused? Was what he saw actually the mention of Wright's prints being sent for elimination along with the light bulb?

Crime scene photos show the porch light on that morning.

The yardarm light does not appear on in the available photos.

What we are left with is zero documentation confirming the porch light had been unscrewed. Definitely zero documentation Officer Wright screwed the light bulb back in. And zero documentation Wright's print was ID'd on the bulb.

These things have all been invented by Dmac, built around Sheila's print being found on the porch light bulb. He has had documentation stating it was the yardarm light that was unscrewed, but decided not to disclose this. Not only that but he misrepresented the contents of Crim's report. He knowingly lied and put false information out there that the Crim report stated it was the porch light when the report clearly states it was the yardarm light. In his recent Facebook post he wrote "As for the report stating the yardarm bulb was unscrewed, no other report states this". Yet, he has never produced a single report corroborating his claim the porch light was unscrewed. He does have reports stating it was the yardarm light, just ignore that though so he can continue on falsely accusing Sheila of murder.

And this is why we should never believe a word out of keddie28's mouth without the original report to back it up.

Took me a while to find it, because I kept getting sidetracked... Here's the bit from Doug's private files, where he's trying to tie the Keddie case onto a serial rapist in Plumas County. Charles Edwin Wilkins had been busted for rape and burglary a few times, and was up on the same charges again in 84. Somehow, Crim had made note of the similarities (the Crim note is not found in his known files) between Wilkins' cases and the Keddie murders.

That both Crim and Thomas point out the front porch bulb was unscrewed in Keddie as part of the MO is huge, of course, because the prints on the bulb proves it was Sheila, and that she was in on the conspiracy. Although while the prints being Sheila's appears in several files, it's not found in files by Crimely, but Crim's clearly aware enough of the situation (that 28 was intentionally darkened for the murders) that he lists it as part of the Keddie murders MO. Of course, there's only a 99.9999999% likelihood Crim also knew the prints were Sheila's, but a 100% positive that DT knew, because the prints being Sheila's appears on his list of main worries about the crappy coverup he started.

So, LE KNEW THE UNSCREWED BULB AND DARKENING OF 28 WAS MODUS OPERENDI, AND KNEW SHEILA UNSCREWED THE BULB. AND DID NOTHING BUT BURY IT.

Looking at the rest of DT's words: Ron Pedrini is a suspect, so DT goes over some of his oddities... but, as I've already posted in the Pedrini Collection, nowhere near as many red flags as I've uncovered.

"Wilkins ties Vx with whatever is available (?)" The question mark to me can mean only one thing: PCSO and DOJ knew the killers brought the tape with them, so it's marked 'questionable' because it's not a similarity.

Then he mentions one Vx nightgown was lifted up the legs so Wilkins covered the Vx with a blanket. So was this a murder, or was the Vx unable to move because she was restrained? Any, the important point is DT asks if Justin's the one that pulled up Sue's nightgown. This means LE knew early on Justin covered Sue, but there's no indication this idiot saw the Bigger Picture: That it took TWO BOYS to move Sue, then cover her. Moreso, that the staging (hiking up of Sue's gown and staging her with her legs spread) was done by the killers, UNDONE by the boys. Instead, this jagoff jackass tries to attribute all of it to Justin.

Well busted in a lie here. Now we can see exactly why he didn't post the Crim report when he made this post back in 2021. Because he prefers to twist the truth. This is a perfect example, he knowingly claims Crims report states the front porch light was unscrewed. It most certainly does NOT. He is referencing the report he recently posted to Facebook which in fact states it was the yardarm light bulb which was unscrewed. Its obviously the same report because it contains the same info about Pedrini. Lie some more. You're only fucking with people's lives and preventing justice from being served to those really responsible. I bet the real killers love you.

It's very interesting if it was the yardarm light that had been unscrewed. In 7scarletts post regarding Phillip it was said Phillip in his later years claimed the perpetrators were looking/waiting for Johnny and Dana to return home. Those responsible had been at 28 earlier that night and unscrewed an outside light bulb. His story also involved a van.

The Seabolt girls saw a van parked in front of cabin 28 around 9pm. Could those in the van have been unscrewing yardarm bulb at that time? Like Phillip said, years before it was common knowledge a light bulb was unscrewed? He also claimed a pellet gun was brought, years before anyone outside of law enforcement knew a pellet gun had been involved. And during his confession to his mother while in jail, he said "they told me to hand them the scissors and I did". Stoy collected the porch light one hour after Phillips confession on 4/29/81. While collecting the light bulb, Stoy also found a pair of scissors on the window sill inside 28. The window near the couch.

-The murders apparently were not planned in advance. They thought they could get what they wanted with only the threat of the pellet gun they brought. It started out as a threat and escalated to what it was. There was no specific target, but multiple targets and motives spread out across the group.

Anyway, he allegedly left the truck and walked to the cabin and saw part of the crime from the kitchen doorway. He was threatened afterward, but no one in attendance believed he was really a threat because no one would believe what he said (which is true). Tina was allegedly taken, alive, to Oakland Feather River Camp or somewhere nearby there. One of the four guys was Johnny & Dana's age; the others were adults.

I was told that he would bring it up over the years afterward, when drinking, and become pretty upset. He would cry and want to discuss it, and then change his mind and deny it. I was told that he felt a certain amount of guilt for it, but there was nothing he could do about it, so when he left the area he tried to forget about it, but never did. His mother and her family would never speak about it, and when asked about it by anyone, they would mention the fact that Philip is a drunk and what he says cannot be believed.

I've been kind of doing research on my own for the last couple years. Some of it is clearly not true, some of it only probably not true. I don't think Philip was lying altogether. I think he was telling what he thought really happened, whether he was remembering it correctly or not.

I think someone told Marty what to say about Philip because they knew what Philip was going to say to the cops, and I don't think the police was that someone.

About 2100 hrs (10pm) Meeks gave him a ride to the Methodist Church. After being there for an undetermined time, he decided to go to the Exxon Mini-Mart.

While at Exxon he met up with Johnny and Dana. They were getting a ride from three people in a pick-up. The pick-up was described as between a 1954 and 1957 Chevy, dark green with something similar to a roll bar in the back. Howard drove a 1955 Chevy, but I have not been able to find out the color.

He said one of the men was named Marty, and lived at the end of the road in Keddie. He owns a small red station wagon. Phillip did not know the other two men.
After arriving in Keddie, Phillip said that while looking through a window of the Sharp residence he saw Johnny get his throat cut, Dana get hit over the head with a hammer, and Sue being choked.

Phillip said that at one point he ran to the Keddie Back Door Bar where he saw a man that was locking up the bar. He tried to tell the man what was happening. The man got into a blue car that looked like a Mercedes, and drove away. Phillip returned to the Sharp residence to try to help Tina.

At one time he was hiding under the house and he scratched the license number from the pick-up onto the hot water heater. Phillip told of a long fight that ended up at Gansner Airport, where he got away. The three men still had Tina.

Wow! Thats radical. Why is this never mentioned in the cop reports? Or was he too scared? Who is Phillip? Was it a Phillip who supposedly slep in the methodist Church? Or am I remembering that wrong? Did/do you believe him? Poor guy. Sorry for all the questions. Ive been trying to read and remember, haham what Ive read. I just rwad somewhere on keddie28 that Danas throat was polled out with the claw of a hammer?? Sorry to be so graphic. But thats not in the autopsy. Thx for answering Meanie:)

Philip is the guy from the church, first cousin of the Meeks children. He retold this story many times and eventually moved to Arizona, where he died in 2001 or 2002. He even told his mother that he saw it...I don't know if I believe him, no one else seemed to...but something frightened him, obviously.
That part about Dana is not true. Dana was strangled, probably with a chokehold (due to the lack of hand or ligature marks), after he was unconscious and already dying.

Woops, misread and thot he told you which of course isnt possible:/ I wanna believe him, thats a lot of info for not being there, but it fits in with 2 guys from G_ville beating up someone someone? Nevermind, info overload up in here! And how the fuck would they end up at the airport which is a mile north of Q/Exxon Stn. I feel bad for the guy, he sounds homeless. There was only ever 1 homeless person in Q when I was there. And that was only on and off. She wore red lipstick and had a shopping cart, not from a store but the kind you can/could buy... pulling behind you. Anyhoo, thx!

We did a lot of digging for information on Phillip. He was adopted and was indian or half indian if i'm not mistaken. We found it strange that no one ever mentioned that on the old forum. Maybe they just wanted to distance themselves from him. He actually helped their Marty theory but in doing so it might have implicated others no one wanted mentioned. But if Marty was in the truck with Johnny and Dana and two other guys how could he be at the bar? But I guess anything is possible. Phillip was just sorta passed off as a crazy drunk (and he may have been) and what ever he may or may not have known he took to the grave.

This was a small town and some of these people WERE either kin in some way or friends with each other. There was a lot of covering and lying to protect friends and family.

What I found most interesting (especially now) about the extended version of Phillip's story indicated not one vehicle, but two...just as The Other Karl described two. Coincidental perhaps, but interesting nonetheless.

Meanie do you have the extended version of Phillips story? Kinda strange that Phillip placed himself at the Back Door Bar which was across from the Keddie Store where the bloody tissue, cardboard, and knife were found. It is almost as if the part of the man locking up the bar is something he witness from afar and wove into his story.

I have it as it was told to me. Keep in mind that it comes from a third party who allegedly heard it from Phillip years after the fact.

He said that he woke up from his evening out with the boys, in the church, and went to the store for a drink, where he ran into several men in a pickup truck. One of the men was Marty Smartt, the other fellow he didn't know. There might have been a third man; I am unclear on that. Johnny & Dana were in the truck bed. They convinced him to come along, and he went.

He passed out a second time and when he woke up he was alone, parked across the street from Cabin 28 and down the way a bit, half way between the store and Cabin 13. He watched a van circle the block and stop in front of Cabin 28 (at what point this happened, I don't know). It was implied but not expressly said that the men in the van took Tina, while the others stayed behind.

The next part you know. He walked up to Cabin 28 and looked through the window and watched part of the attack. He wanted to save Tina, couldn't, and ran away. Some of the men went after him.

The guy who told me this said that Philip would get drunk and cry, for years after the murders. His story always stayed the same and he never stopped telling it.

Then Dmac comes along as "Spooked" to railroad the discussion....
