It's important to note the woman from page 2 of this report is the same woman who, 35 years later, admitted to arranging the ride home for Johnny & Dana that night. As you can see, that is a different story than what she told LE in 1981. Not only did she not tell LE about this supposed ride home, she went as far as to say she heard Donna W. had rode them home. In 2017, she claimed she did not tell LE about the ride sooner because she was embarrassed by her affair with Dana (she was 27 & he was only 17) & did not want the information known. Yet: 1.) People already knew of the affair, including LE. 2.) She had no problem admitting they were at her house that evening. For some reason she specifically lied about the ride. 3.) She wasn't trying to hide their affair when she went inside the highschool to confront Dana's new girlfriend about about bracelet she had given Dana. 4.) Tina was missing at this point, being honest with the police would have helped them narrow down where to concentrate their searches to find Tina & the perpetrators (they could have scratched the "boys caught a bad ride home" theory) 5.) This woman spread rumors about the victims after the murders, pointing the motive from one thing to the next. Eventually in each of the stories the person turned from some random "black guy" into Marty. Lots more to add from her. But bottom line, she is unreliable and her story/motive should be scrutinized more closely. Can't help but feel there is more to that story.
