I disagree. Sheriff Thomas was a disgrace, a corrupt worm and coward. His family even said so. I read all of his files from when they were first posted on keddie28.com. You asked why some pages are missing. That's garbage, because it's obvious none are missing. It's obvious Thomas quit working the case. If you read the report, you'd know his work was shit then he quit. Like he did with his sheriff's job. The Quitter.
He never worked it in the first place. This report shows he did nothing worthwhile. It proves he lied to the press, but we already knew that by reading all the different versions of lies he told different papers. It proves he broke the law many times in how he mishandled and corrupted witnesses. He didn't even bother searching for Tina until days later, and that was half-assed! Even Dennis Forcino, their lead investigator, was stopped from doing both his jobs. He was not allowed to investigate the murders, and as head of Plumas Search and Rescue was not allowed to organize a search for Tina. Doug Thomas was a disgrace and I hope he's burning in hell right alongside Marty, Marilyn, and Mama Meeks.
It's the cops who screwed all of this up and anyone who says otherwise is lying to everyone but themselves. It's the cops who put official papers from different agencies together and then "let them go missing", and it happened before Mike G got involved so blaming him is just another botched lie. It's Bill Elliott from BCSO who handed out the phone call evidence tapes without having anyone sign for them. Its PCSO Bill Elliott who let Josh Hancock steal case files by not doing his job.
Try getting basic facts straight.

Yes, yes, everyone knows your opinion of Doug Thomas. Still doesn't change the facts. PCSO is a small town police department. In 1981 they had a total of 6 homicides throughout the entire county. 3 of those homicide victims were Sue, Johnny, & Dana. 1980 had 3 homicides and there were 4 in 1982. Obviously, they had never investigated a crime of this magnitude. Sheriff Thomas was aware his department was not equipped to handle this case and immediately called in the DOJ & FBI for assistance and resources. Hundreds of items of evidence were collected from the crime scene. They contacted the BAU for a profile of the offender. Ran fingerprints, performed blood typing. Hundreds of people were interviewed, every lead they received they followed up on, there are thousands of reports from this case. The leads they received were all over the place, no two people told the same story, and almost everyone they interviewed appear to be witholding information. I'm sorry you feel his reports are worthless, but that's your opinion. He conducted interviews and followed up on the information he received. Remember, follow the evidence, not a theory. You seem to have a hard time understanding law enforcement does not reveal every bit of information to the press or public. That isn't lying as you so often like to say. LE were attempting to find out if the pellet gun was brought to the scene or if it was already in the cabin, conflicting statements once again. Regardless, the press wasn't informed of the pellet gun because it was a hold back of LEs. They did not want that information made public for good reason. The other weapons came from inside the house, which tells LE the murders were not planned. Not to mention Cruzita & Kathy Beckley didn't come forward with their ride information until 35+ years later. DT had no way of ruling out the "bad ride home" theory. Not his fault important information was purposely withheld from LE. He told the media that Tina was an integral part of the investigation. No wonder, one of the very first bits of information they received was Roseanna informing them Tina had threatened to kill someone if she had a knife. As a cop, of course your going to look into that, gotta check out every angle. And Roseanna must have been concerned enough about that occurrence to immediately call LE with the information. Roseanna was a friend of Sue's, what else did she have to say? According to his reports, DT requested S&R to search for Tina around Keddie on 4/13. Newspaper reports mention Keddie & dwellings being searched on 4/12 & 4/13. They increased the search radius on the 15th. These reports are exactly as you posted them, dates & page numbers cropped off & one of the first pages is definitely missing. Some of the names DT states appear in his report don't show up on these pages. I find it impossible to believe DT just stopped investigating his last month as sheriff. But hey, whatever you say. And no one has ever accused Gamberg of manipulating files. Don't make stuff up. We say it's obvious you consistently only post information you feel fits your theory and purposely leave out information you do not want people to see. Forcino wasn't Lead Investigator. He was a Deputy Investigator. That is not a Homicide Investigator. He was a deputy within the investigation division. Look up the role of a deputy investigator, that "busy work" he was assigned, that's what his position was responsible for. Im aware DTs press release listed Forcino as Investigator, but that was just his title. Every other report lists Forcino as Deputy Forcino. A deputy isn't going to be the lead on a homicide. You say he wasn't allowed to work the case, but there's nothing to back up that claim. 1981, crime statistics - "Investigation division, drug arrests were up a full 30%...Sgt. Al Brubaker and Deputy Dennis Forcino comprise the division. "

Yes yes we all know your lies. It doesn't change the fact you're ignoring the facts. Thomas knew who the murderers were when he was notified. Or at least knew Marty was behind it. He lied about when he showed up at the crime scene. From what I've seen, they all lied or their reports were falsified. Stop coming back to me with similar nonsensical garbage. You sound like Sheila did when she was caught lying on Josh's forum. I think there's a very strong chance Hope is Sheila Sharp, or just someone just as bad at lying. You're here to do the same thing: change the topic and lie some more. Why else are you showing such utter disrespect and loathing for the victims by lying about what happened?!
Doug has been proved beyond a shadow of doubt to be corrupt. So has Crim and Bradley. You can hang all your hopes and lies on those yahoos but the rest of us know anyone who trusts or credits them is bogus. A house of cards? A house of useds toilet paper. He knew Tina was dead because it wasn't until his last day that others put out the very first Missing Persons flyer for Tina. No APB, dental records or DOJ report on her until 4 months after she was murdered. And Plumas had resources, but Doug kept them idle so he and other fakes from DOJ and the SO could ruin the investigation. It's simple as that. It's what dmac put together, it's what PCSO discovered to be true, it's why Sheriff Hagwood went public and told the press the case had been botched. You choose to believe the killers, with proof Doug and the DOJ were corrupt, and make up stuff about Hagwood to fit your own bizarre, flake-o theory? What is it this week, by the way? Post a link to it so I can have a laugh. I need one after reading your lies.
In 1981, Forcino was PCSO's LEAD Investigator so don't lie to me. And did you forget he was in charge of S&R and was not allowed to search for Tina?! Gosh, you seem to forget all the important things when answering with your lies. And Yes Yes we know you love psychics and lie detectors rather than reality. Blame it all on the supposed mores of the day, but it only makes you look even worse. And who cares about your stats? How do they explain Doug and DOJ intentionally lying about who the killers are, how the murders happened, etc? Explain that before wanking off with meaningless, unassociated #s. They had the money and resources to solve it, that's a fact. Because they did solve it and then made up a fake investigation to hide the facts. It's our luck that they were just as stupid and bad at it as the killers were at murder.

Brick, what is your source for the following statements you made: "Thomas knew who the murderers were when he was notified." "From what I've seen, they all lied or their reports were falsified." "Doug has been proved beyond a shadow of doubt to be corrupt. So has Crim and Bradley." As for your statement of "He knew Tina was dead because it wasn't until his last day that others put out the very first Missing Persons flyer for Tina. No APB, dental records or DOJ report on her until 4 months after she was murdered." This is not entirely accurate. On April 13, 1981, 1:55 a.m., Sheriff Thomas issued an APB to to Reno PD, Lassen County SO, Sierra County SO, Butte County SO, to report persons receiving medical care for cuts or lacerations, and Butte County to check its hobo camp for missing Tina Sharp. This document has been scanned and can be found online, and it has been quoted in numerous articles since it was issued by PCSO. You have no right to accuse members of lying. We are studying the documents and discussing what they contain. Taking the word of a disgraced deputy who had been fired twice from PCSO and an online forum admin do not qualify as reliable sources.

Thank you Cam. That was way overdue, as was his removal. To constantly accuse people of lying because they do not agree with his opinion is not ok. And that's all he has is a theory made up of his opinion. If he had evidence to back up his claims he could have easily answered your questions & posted proof. Studying the documents and discussing their contents is the purpose of this forum. For far too long this information has not been available to the general public & those interested in the case. One person has attempted to control everything. People have been unable to properly research the case because the information was not available to them. Instead, they have been allowed to read case synopses based on one person's opinion, anything contradicting that has been locked away. Which is why the prevailing theory is repeated so often. There used to be a large community of people interested in this case and they were all pushed away. To those people, there are dozens I could name, thank you. Your contributions are remembered, recognized, and appreciated. We would love for you all to rejoin the discussions. This case is still unsolved. Back to the subject, Forcino was not lead investigator. The job title of Investigator is not the same as a Homicide Detective. He was a Deputy in the Investigation Division. He would have worked the case but he would not have been in charge. Al Brubaker was Sergeant of the Investigation Division, if anyone was to be Lead Investigator it would have been him. However, this was a small town police department which is why the statistics are important. They were not capable of handling an investigation of this magnitude by themselves. Which is why the DOJ and FBI were called in. As sheriff, Doug Thomas would have delegated duties as he saw fit. He had men more experienced than Forcino and a deputy would not have been made lead. In addition to Brubaker, several others held positions higher than Forcino. Ken Shanks was the undersheriff and had completed training at the prestigious FBI academy. Stoy and Shaver were both sergeants and more experienced. Information and newspaper clippings about all these officers will be posted to the forum. Their job descriptions can be read on Plumas County's website. BTW, one of the job duties of Investigator is to attend autopsies. Nothing suspicious about Forcino being chosen for that duty, it was part of his job. Also, crime didn't stop with these murders. As officers of the Investigative Division, Brubaker and Forcino would have been utilized in other investigations as needed. I have also come across nothing that supports Dmac's claim that Forcino was head of Plumas County Search and Rescue. If he has information stating otherwise he can post it on his forum of everyone to see. Every Search & Rescue article from 1980 lists Don Stoy as the liason within PCSO. At the time of the murders it was Doug McCallister. His title in 1981 was Deputy Coroner. He arrived in Plumas County in 1970 and had 4 years experience in LE prior to that. Prior to becoming Deputy Coroner, he was a PCSO Sergeant in 1978. In regards to Hagwood, it is true he has said the investigation was poorly conducted. However in his most recent media appearance, ABC10 Sacramento Unsolved California in April 2020, he stated Tina was an important part of the investigation. That she was removed because there was something about her the perpetrators could not leave behind including the possibility she was pregnant or had been raped. That in no way supports the prevailing theory that she was removed from the cabin to "throw off the investigation". Here are some more news clippings regarding PCSO positions in 1981: Sheriff Doug Thomas, Sgt Al Brubaker and Deputy Forcino at the crime scene: A statement from Al Brubaker during his run for Sheriff:

And newspaper clippings regarding Search and Rescue: One of several 1980 articles listing Don Stoy as PCSO liason Two articles from 1981 mentioning Doug McCallister in regards to Plumas County Search and Rescue: First article is in reference to Doug McCallister of Plumas County S&R and other members speaking with students of the elementary school: Second article is specifically related to the murders and the search for Tina with a quote from Doug McCallister:

Here is a letter a resident wrote to the FRB commending Doug Thomas & PCSO for their hard work and swift action in calling in for backup from the DOJ & FBI. And finally, this is the one single report of which Dmac is using to claim Forcino was lead investigator. It boils down to making the evidence fit a theory. Forcino being "Lead Investigator" fits perfectly into his speculation that Forcino was not allowed to investigate the murders because he wasn't corrupt and he's running with it. Forcino is listed as Investigator because that was his title. He was still a deputy, a deputy within the Investigative Division. He held the title of Investigator but that is not the same thing as a Homicide Investigator or Homicide Detective.

At the bottom of the second page is the statement of Barry Christensen taking a call from a Roseanna Nowland on the day of the murders. Surely LE talked to Roseanna about this and either dmac has not posted it because it's not relevant to "his" case or LE didn't give it to him because it's relevant to their case.

How convenient. I just noticed an important chunk of DTs files are not included here. This specific bunch of missing pages include the interview with Marty's therapist which most likely occurred on 5/18/81. Hence, why these pages were omitted. The missing pages of interviews occurred between 5/14/81 - 5/18/81. We know this interview exists as it was shown to Joshua Seabold and described in his 2011 Plumas News article. Here is the link to the full article and the portion regarding the Therapists 1981 interview in pasted below. keddietruth.freeforums.net/thread/368/keddie-solved-joshua-seabold-plumasIn 1981, May 14th & 15th were a Thursday & Friday. May 18th was a Monday.

To add to the above, let's look at what transpired around the time in question according to Doug Thomas' files: - 1981-05-12 ?hrs (prior to 1030am):
Doug Thomas calls Dr. Riser, a LAPD Psychologist/Hypnotist for his opinion and specifically asks questions pertaining to Justin & Marty. He questions could it possible for Justin to witness his stepfather commiting the crime yet not recognize him as the perpetrator. He also asks could it be possible for Marty to have passed his 4-17-81 polygraph if he was responsible. Dr. Riser states both could be possible and recommends DT contact Dr. Dash, Child Psychologist & Investigative Hypnotist about Justin. Dr. Dash returns DTs call. He agrees to come to Quincy to work with Justin and help determine the importance & validity of Justin's 'dream'. Dr. Dash telephones with his flight information. He will be arriving at 814 hrs on 5-19-81. Officer Jeff Lord of Klamath Falls PD provides DT with information on Marty and Bo. Bo checked into the Arcadia Hotel on 4-14-81 using the alias Bobby Lake. Marty checked in on 4-21-81. The two shared a room. Marty was seen leaving with a woman driving a red van. A second search of Marty & Marilyns former cabin, #26, is conducted by DT, Crim, Bradley, and Sgt. Brubaker. DT interviews two different women re: Cooney & his wife - ?? Date? ?? Time? (Cropped off):
Interview with Dee L. also re: Cooney - The report next picks up on 1981-05-19 at 0815 hrs with DT picking up Dr. Dash. Justin's hypnosis session with Dr. Dash begins at 1015am.
So, what occurred between Thursday 5-14-81 and Monday 5-18-81?? What was removed prior to these reports being made public? Why remove anything!?!
